I fancied going away for the weekend but didn't want to go far or spend a fortune, I didn't even want to spend £100 a night for a basic hotel so I searched for guest houses in the lake district as we don't live far from there and the countryside is lovely. I couldn't find any vacancies so I suggested a caravan to my husband, he agreed as we both think it's great for children to be outside and they love it. I search the Hoseasons website and we decided to go on Friday after school and work etc and stay until Monday as the children were off school then.
We wanted a fairly basic site as we were going to take games to play at night and the netball post and maybe the swingball. After looking I came across Chapel Farm Caravan Park in Little Asby. The Hoseasons site had a caravan available for 3 nights at a cost of £165, fairly cheap ...

I am a ChapelHill, NC native and a big fan of The Carolina Inn. In all fairness, I must disclose that I have never stayed overnight in this hotel as a guest; however, I have attended weddings, receptions, dinners and music events at the Inn and I have always had a very nice experience at this classy venue.
I am rating this hotel based on the experiences I have had personally so I therefore cannot comment on the room service or how fluffy the pillows are--I can tell you that the Inn is located in the heart of downtown ChapelHill, next to the campus of the University of North Carolina at ChapelHill. It is only one block away from the main street which runs through town (Franklin St.) which boast many nice restaurants and shops.
The Inn is housed in a beautiful old building built in 1924 in traditional southern style ...
