Happy to visit Hampton Court

Advantages: Lovely day out, lots to see and do
Disadvantages: Too much to take in on one visit

I've wanted to visit Hampton Court for absolutely ages, it's been on my "list of things to do" for about five years now. Finally, after much delay, I achieved my goal on the May bank holiday. History Hampton Court is probably best known as Henry VIII's royal palace, but in fact it was built by Cardinal Wolsey, Henry's right hand man. Since Henry seized it from Wolsey (sorry, was given it by Wolsey...) it has been extensively modified by various monarchs from Elizabeth I through William and Mary and Queen Anne. Various grace and favour apartments were established in the buildings in the early 1800s, which led to further changes in layout and use, and although these apartments are no longer allocated to people there are still a few people living there. A new exhibition at the palace when we visited allowed us to view one ...

Universal Studios Orlando>>> Best Holiday

Advantages: Really uncrowed at nights, Has alot of attractions, really sunny, cheaper than Disney World
Disadvantages: Really crowed through the days, the gifts can be dear $$$

My Holiday in 2008 to Universal Studios Orlando When I first went into the Citywalk I thought that this park was going to be no good. Id rather have Disney. But when I got into the Universal I changed my mind it was great they had alot attractions! They were nearly all Simulators or Shows except for Woody the Woodpecker and the Revenge of the Mummy. <<>> The rides where quite good in Universal they had Disaster Studios which was a show/Ride where you went into a room with an actor kind of and 10 or 11 people acted out a disaster and then they brought you on a tram and brought you under ground and more disaster happened and then it show you on a screen you acting out the disaster and on the tram! Then there was Shrek 4D where you were on a horse trying to saw Shreks wife Fiona, And the chairs moved and shrek ...

Universal Studios Orlando

Advantages: Easy to reach. Plenty to do. Right by another park and some shops.
Disadvantages: None.

Universal Studios - A Wonderful Day Out This is a wonderful theme park, with plenty for the whole family. We have been to Orlando four times so far, and this is always on our list of places to go more than once. For young children there is an entire zone of exciting but not scarey things to see and do, from a gentle roller coaster to a ride through the world of E.T. The water playground is very popular - expect to get wet! For adults and children, there is an exciting Shrek show, with lots of surprises, and an adventure with Jimmy Neutron. The Horror Makeup Show is not as horrific as it sounds, with a lot of humour, but may be unsuitable for sensitive children. For adults and older children, there is a great deal more to do. For example, there is a formidable roller coaster on the Mummy theme, which has lots of great ...
