Advantages: The most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Disadvantages: none!
...I have stayed at this establishment many times through work and every time it has been a great stay. Prior to arriving many people had described it as 'cheap and cheerful' but on arrival I was pleased with the informative and cheerful reception staff and suprised by the size of the 'minimalist look' rooms. It is also very convenient that a Brewers fayre is adjacent that offers food and drink, have stayed in many hotels where there is nothing near! The beds are more comfortable than words! Better than your bed at home haha. The hotel is also very quiet consiering when I arrived I had booked the last room (quietest place I had ever stayed!) So a good nights sleep is graranteed. Overall a great stay at the Hampton Premier tavel inn!...

Advantages: Excellent room, facilities and restaurant, easy access to main routes Disadvantages: Traffic noise, heat in rooms
...to be installed in some of their problem hotels - hopefully this will be one of them. Perhaps a single nights stay during the cooler months would be fine. The hotel rooms, facilities and restaurant are all excellent and offer very good value for money. Just beware the location!

Advantages: Has a beach and lots to do Disadvantages: The beach is shingle, not sand
...Southsea is lined with hotels and guesthouses, some of the largest being the Royal Beach hotel, Holiday Inn and Queens Hotel. The Ibis Hotel and the Marriott Hotel are a short bus ride away. There is also a caravan park with both caravans and pitches available to hire.
5 Conclusion
As you can probably see, there are lots of things to see and do in Portsmouth. Its a great destination for families but there are plenty of things for singles and couples and groups of friends to do too. The only thing that Portsmouth doesn't have is sand on the beach. Although Portsmouth is generally quite sunny in the summer, it is of course in Britain, so don't forget your umbrella....

I decided to extend a day trip to london and stay overnight, just me and my 6 year old boy. This was very last minute booking 18.00 hours the night before the stay to be exact.
Searching on the net I found various prices for us to stop for one night. more
