Happy Hotel, Marina Di Pietrasanta

...I have staying the Dart Marina three times now and I feel I need to share my experience with you. Lets put it simply the start with, the hotel is brilliant. There is no other word to describe it. It is right on the seafront and within a pleasurable walking range to Dartmouth. It has outstanding views across the sea with regular yaughts coming into the marina. The team of staff are friendly, helpful and see to your every need. The chef, who I have met, is a brilliant cook and has produced several different and amazing dishes from local produce each time I have been there. The rooms are immaculate and stylish with TV, radio, en-suite and several complimentary items. The facilities, which include a spa, swimming pool and gym, are state of the art and enjoyable to use. In summer, King Ludwig's Castle at Neuschwannstein is a practically un-missable day-trip, if you can spare the time. GETTING AROUND: The best means of exploring Munich can be summed up in two words: Public Transport. Munich's train-network, which is separated into U-Bahns & S-Bahns, is clean, efficient and very reasonably priced. Taxi's, as elsewhere in Germany, are also very reliable. WHERE TO STAY: Like most cities of this size, Munich has a comprehensive array of accommodation on offer. The huge and grand Bayerischer Hof, founded in 1841, is located in the centre of the city, and is arguably one of the loveliest hotels in the world. Advantages: Located on Jumeriah Beach, comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, SUPERB VALUE for money and quality for a 4 star hotel
Disadvantages: none really - if you get a sea view room

There was also a television with loads of satellite channels many of which we did not get time to view, a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and an efficient hairdryer that had more than one setting! Superior rooms are larger in size than standard rooms and often have a sofa suite and larger living area. The hotel has a mixture of standard and superior rooms. Most of the rooms have sea views and have balconies, though some rooms have desert view and may not have balconies.
