Advantages: loads of arcade amusements Disadvantages: very busy in summer
...resort - Butlins Funcoast World.
On the way back to the amusements within the Pier, why don’t you try your luck at one of the many side stalls – everything from hooking the duck to playing darts to win cuddly toys.
If you start to feel hungry or thirsty then don’t despair. The Pier has its very own refreshment outlets. So whether you fancy an ice cream, sweets, hamburgers, cream cakes, chips, milkshakes, fizzy drinks or even a nice warm mug of hot chocolate, – you will be fully catered for!
Once inside the Pier there are so many different arcade games (popular games) and amusements to choose from such as one arm bandits, 2p slot machines, 5p slot machines, 10p slot machines, Arabian derby, bingo, driving games, cuddly toy machines (there are quite a few of these – various cuddly toys for all ages) and sweet machines etc! Advantages: almost everything Disadvantages: windy ;o)
...of the oldest buildings of the Speicherstadt is the home of the Spice Museum ‘Spicy’s’. Part of the exhibits is ancient production machinery and often Spicy’s attracts many visitors with quite unusual special feature exhibitions like “Suppen echt scharf” (delicious and spicy soups). Spicy's calls itself a hands-on museum. You can touch, smell and taste more spices than you can imagine and you can even feel the old warehouse atmosphere.
A special highlight is the illumination of the buildings and bridges of the Speicherstadt in the evening. The lights are reflected in the canals and it is just impressive. The best way of experiencing it is a tour by ship, which take off daily from the quays.

Advantages: Great lively city; great sights!! Disadvantages: None really!
...HamburgHamburg is the second largest city in Germany and has a rich and varied history and in the modern age is still world famous for it's port, tourist attractions and the Beatles in the 1960s as well as one of the recent James Bond films having been set here in the 1990s! I first visited Hamburg when I was six or seven and had family living over there and I am really pleased that I did as otherwise it is certainly one of those cities that you could easily miss and that would be a shame!
Hamburg is a great cosmopolitan city that will appeal to old and young alike. Perfect for couples who enjoy fine dining and shopping as well as perfect for families at the fairs and attractions.
