Disadvantages: Cost of airport transfers- cheaper to hire a car!

My sister and myself have just come back from another wonderful Harry Shaw holiday to Austria. Hotels good value for money. Driver Wayne and hostess Annette were most obliging.Two of the passengers Brida and Maggie were good fun and help make the holiday. We had a full coach of passengers all with the exception of two were there for a good time.The two passengers seem to want to spoil it for everyone else-and complained all the time . The husband was not to bad if he was away fom her ,but she just looked down her nose at everyone. If they have travelled with Harry Shaw before the rest of the passengers say ban them from travelling again.

booked a mystery tour.was put on a coach with people who had booked for eastbourne.so knoe where we were going even before we left coventry.then found out we had paid £40.00 more than then going to eastbourne.went to same place on same coach stayed in same hotel,ate same food.but had to pay so much more.out of the two trips we have taken.we were let down both times.last time the coach trip was farmed out to another company,whoes coach broke down and we ended up missing a large piece of our holiday.both times came home more stressed than when we went.

We stupidly booked a Harry Shaw coach tour to the Italian Riviera of Flowers. We should have smelt a rat as the description of the holiday (no named destination or hotel) was so so vague. The hotel turned out to be the Nuovo Bristol in Pietra Ligure. What a dump, no smoke detectors, no cooling (we were told to buy our own fan), dump of a room, horrible food. They even had the affront to charge 20 euros a day to use their beach. We rang HS to ask for an alternative hotel to no avail. After 3 nights unable to sleep due to heat and noise we booked out 4 days early and flew home. Be warned. Terrible experience, have an escape plan.

DON'T book with Harry Shaw unless you want to be let down. Along with 2 friends we booked several weeks ago to spend new year in Paris which we were really looking forward to. We paid the deposit and last week the final invoice arrived. A cheque was sent over the weekend, but on Tuesday (today) a letter arrives informing us the holiday is cancelled. Thank you very much DIRTY HARRY you'r a shaw looser, and a happy new year to you too.
