Not only is it cheap, ATS 2700 per month, although you can only book for calendar months, safe, and has all the necessary facilities, but there are other facilities such as a computer room, with internet access, and there are registration periods fortnightly. The price is excellent, as it works out cheaper than any hotels, and is a useful base for you to get flathunting and jobhunting. There are always rooms available, but beware teh check times with the Verwaltung 8-10 (weekdays) in the morning and 2-4 (Monday to Thursday) in the afternoon. The accommodation is self catering but there are various supermarkets within easy walking distance, and drinks vending machines in each block.
