This Website on the face of it works very well, put in your preferred dates, site you requireand the type of accomdation you require and within moments you are given cost and availability including, it says, any relevant discounts.
The only problem with this that I find if you then contact the Sales Office direct you can almost manage without fail to negotiate an additional discount. Over the last 3 years I have managed to save around £25 per Holiday by checking first on the Internet and then contacting the Sales department and checking that all relevent discounts have been applied ,this year for example, I was awarded a £15 priority guest discount which was not applied on the internet.
The Website contains all of the same information, photos etc as the brochure, but it doeas save you the hassle of venturing out to a Travel Agent.
All in all the website works well if you are not to bothered about extracting the last pounds worth of saving out of the Holiday, but an additional field asking you if you feel any additional discounts should apply would go a long way to solving this irritation.
However I would Heartily recomend Haven as a Holiday company the enthusiasm shown by the Funstarz to keep the children entertained is second to none.
This year Haven have completely updated their Website and I have to admit it is a pleasure to use. Compared to last year it is much more user friendly, quicker, much more professional looking and more importantly offers the best price allowing for ALL DISCOUNTS! You will still need to speak to the Sales Department for more unusual requests such as preferred location of your Holiday Unit or fro special Needs etc. but this years version of the Holiday Website shows a great improvement on what was available in the past.
