Advantages: Lovely village, tourist attraction, nice place for walks, nice shops, easy access. Disadvantages: Few shops for children, expensive, not enough parking on busy days.

Haworth is a lovely, little village, not far from my home in Bradford. Bradford is an industrial city on the edge of the moors of the Britain's West Yorkshire Pennines (just under 30 miles north are the Yorkshire Dales, now a National Park), and Brontė country which is where Haworth is located. Situated in the Pennine moors just above the Worth Valley, Howarth is famous for its former residents the Brontė sisters, who were ... ...Haworth Parsonage, which is now a museum, owned by the Brontė Society.
Brontė Country is named aptly, as it is where the Brontė sisters (Charlotte, Emily and Anne) lived. They wrote their classic novels, such as Charlotte Brontės 'Jane Eyre', at Haworth Parsonage, and their father, Patrick Brontė, worked opposite the family home as a parson at the St. Michael's and All Angels' Church.
