I would urge people to take the other review with a pinch of salt, bearing in mind that this is more suited to young people who are going to Amsterdam to generally get wrecked. ... Read review

situated in the real heart of Amsterdam, all what you need is beside you, shopping centres, night clubs, cinemas, Red light district and all other attractions of Amsterdam. Heart is a warm, comfortable and quiet place in the busiest area in the world. Heart is totally renovated in the period of January & February 2008; the Heart is designed with Hollywood atmosphere, every room (from our 24 rooms) gets a movie name, movie pictures, story of the movie and movie colors. We have in our property twins, triples, quads, 6p, 7p, 8p and 12 person rooms, total of 130 beds, the rooms are all en-suite. Breakfast is included. Dear guest; your enjoyment is our target and we will absolutely achieve it! Meet you soon.

We paid 34 euro each per night which is not cheap and for what we actually got it was a rip-off. This dormitory they put us in was filthy. Ants all over the floor, the toilet was disgusting, the ... ...all over the floor. We wanted to leave but we'd already paid and they wouldn't give us our money bank, and we couldn't afford to lose that amount of money. On our first night there we got no sleep whatsoever - we all slept in our clothes and there were men coming into and going out of the room all night. We skipped breakfast! After seeing the state of the room we didn't want to chance the kitchen. We did kick up a bit of a fuss and on our second ...
