OK its summer time and most of the people wish to go abroad, sunbath and relax on the beach. Some people might not be able to afford to go abroad and others might prefer to stay in the UK anyway. I will make it easier for you to decide where to go - my friends and I wanted to stay in the UK but still have a wonderful time at the sea. After long thoughts and discussions we decided that Bournemouth is the place to go. It has a very long sandy beach (believe me you want sand and not stones like in Brighton), many nightclubs for the younger people, beautiful parks for older people or families; Bournemouth is not too big therefore places are in convenient distance - often only a couple of minutes of walk. Ok let me tell you about the B&B - after a few phone calls we decided to go for the Hedley B&B because the owner was really friendly. When you arrive he introduces you to the B&B, provides you with leaflets and lots of useful information. The B&B is in a perfect location - the beach is just a 3 minute walk away and the city centre only a 5-10 min walk away from the B&B. The rooms are very tidy; you get fresh towels and soap. There is a kettle in each room so if you want to make tea or coffee you are free to do so. The room service will empty your rubbish bins and clean the room for you daily and if you want to watch some TV there is a colour TV-set in your room as well. Depending on the room you pay for, you can also have an en-suit with shower and toilet which is also very clean and handy (after a long day on the beach you would like to get rid of the sand^^) There is a continental breakfast included in the price - you can choose between cereals, fruits, coffee and/or tea, toasts, croissants and many more. The exceptionally very friendly host Trevor will make sure that you don't leave the place hungry in the morning. Breakfast is offered between 8.30 and 9.00 in the morning. I know that is early but if I managed to get up for breakfast after 4 hours of sleep for 3 nights I'm sure you will as well. For your convenience the host will give you keys (a larger group will get more keys - so that they are flexible) so that you can come in and go out whenever you wish.
From my personal experience I can only recommend the place mostly due to the fact that the host is extremely understanding and friendly. After some negotiations we even managed to pay only £25 per person per night which we thought was cheap and worth the service we received. In case I'll go back to Bournemouth some day I know where to stay.
