Advantages: Nice building Disadvantages: The service of the meal was very rushed, expensive drinks
HellabyHall in Rotherham was the choice of venue for my recent work's Christmas party. It's a well-known hotel locally and one of only a few 4 star hotels in the area. It wasn't somewhere that I had been to before so I was interested to find out what it had to offer.
Over the years it has established itself as a premier venue for conferences, wedding functions and other events. Beds are still available so it is still officially a hotel by the true definition of the word, although I imagine that this now only forms a very small part of its business.
Upon arrival I was rather impressed by the exterior of the hotel. Since its tucked away off the main road down a short private road its not really visible unless you are actually visiting it so this was the first time that I had seen it up close. The main part of the building is housed ...
Advantages: Family Run, Friendly Disadvantages: Quite Small
The Brecon Hotel in Rotherham was the choice of venue for my work's Christmas Party last Friday, 1st December 2006. We had left it a little late to get in anywhere and found that the Brecon was just about the only place that could accommodate our part of around 40 people.

The Brecon is a well known Hotel locally. Established in 1963 it is a family run Hotel that prides itself on the reputation that it has built up over the years. It is a medium sized Hotel with 21 Rooms. All of which are en suite and have a colour TV, Radio and Tea and Coffee making facilities.
I did not stay overnight at this Hotel so I cannot really comment on the quality of the rooms other than to ...
Advantages: In a remote scenic area, lots of facilites Disadvantages: slightly expensive but still worth it
Buckatree HallHotel - Telford Shropshire
The hotel stated above is part of the Swallow Hotels chain, not like your average chain hotel this one is stunning my other half and I stayed there a couple of times going back after the first visit as we enjoyed it so much.
It is a 2 star hotel but I believe it is well worth of more, it has 62 rooms catering for all needs and being very family friendly, they have single rooms, double rooms and family rooms and where possible will arrange and room to suit your individual needs.
Buckatree HallHotel is situated just off the M54 in a remote location down a few back roads, it has a peaceful quiet surrounding area which puts you in the mood for your relaxing break away. There are several tourist attractions not far via car journey such as, Telford Shopping Centre, Park, Bowling Ally, Ice ...
