Kununurra Country Club Resort, Western Australia

Advantages: Room cleanliness excellent, facilities and dining quite acceptable.
Disadvantages: Had a battle with the doors in my room

This review covers my stay of two nights at Kununurra Country Club Resort, which is located near Lake Argylle in North West Australia. I stayed here during a coach tour of the Kimberleys, so I didn't book direct with the resort. It is set in green, well-tended grounds, with lots of palm trees. There is good security with high fences around the resort, but even so, management advises guests to keep doors locked to discourage petty theft. Reception area When I arrived at the reception area, porters took my suitcase to my allocated room. Regarding the reception area, the check-in staff seemed friendly and helpful. There was an internet kiosk here (coin-operated). , One point I liked about the foyer was the crocodile design which had been set into the stone-flagged floor. Marriott - Sprowston Manor Hotel and Country Club

Advantages: Great hotels, and facilities
Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE!!!

After another argument with the little lady I was feeling stressed and in need of some TLC. "Right that?s it" I shouted, "We are going away for a night". To which she replied "where?? She had a point, i am only 21, I can?t drive and i am not rich in any way shape or form. Despite this I really needed a break from reality. The Christmas bonus had just been deposited into my bank account so I thought of the closest 4 star I could think of. "We are going to that big hotel on the Wroxham Road" said I not knowing the name at the time. So off we went, as we pulled down the seemingly endless drive from the main road I thought gosh this looks different to any hotel I had ever stayed in (i am more used to forte pothouses or similar!!). Chelsfield Lakes Golf Club

Advantages: Challenging but accessible course for mid handicappers
Disadvantages: Not hard enough for better players and not the best course in the area

Chelsfield Lakes Golf Club 'A good walk spoiled' is how one man once described golf but he was obviously a fool as there are few better ways to pass the time than by playing this most majestic of sports. In my part of the world we are spoilt for choice when it comes to courses and there are ones to suit all standards and pockets. Chelsfield Lakes is a pleasant pay and play course that will satisfy most golfers from beginners to good players. Very low handicappers may not find it enough of a challenge but for us mere mortals it has more than enough to keep us interested without ruining our confidence. The lakes of the title is bit misleading as there are only two on the course. One is far to the left of the 16th and doesn't come into play but the other is large and runs between the 9th and 18th fairways and most definitely comes ...
