.... Ask about Moesgaard, which is a Museum/activity centre for kids located 10 minutes walk from a sandy beach. This can be reached by bus from the city centre. There are also beaches at Den Permanent (Risskov) and The MarselisHotel.
Aarhus' strong point in my opinion is it's city centre. This showcases danish culture - clean, uncrowded, violence free (compared to England), scandinavian styles in the shops, danish pastries to eat, expensive everything (especially pubs). Its a great place to wander round - cobbled streets, small shops, cafe's. Aarhus has a strong cafe culture, centred on the Aa boulevard, which is a street running alongside a river midtown. The cafe's are open in the day for coffe, beer, or food, and stay open until at least 2am, some remaining open until 5 or 6. It is possible to drink round the clock in Aarhus, if you...

Advantages: City centre location, great buffet breakfast, peaceful rooms Disadvantages: No spa on site
...We stayed at the Radisson for 3 nights in June and it was great.
Arhus had so much to see and the hotel was perfectly suited to walk to most of the attractions.
We had a standard double room and the bed was large and the room very quiet. We booked the day we arrived in Denmark and the price was very reasonable. You know you are going to get a certain standard with the Radisson chain.
The breakfast had a very large selection including the cooked items (sausages, eggs, bacon) and many different breads, juices, cheeses and cereals.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the lobby is full of great tourist information leaflets.
The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and the bus from the airport stops at the train station....

Advantages: fantastic rooms, elegant, views of nile Disadvantages: lots of street noise
...I only stayed in this hotel for one night and I wish it had been longer. Out of the three hotels I stayed in in Egypt (Mena House Oberio - Cario and the Radission SAS in Sharm being the other two) this was by far the best!
Had a corner suite room overlooking the nile which was amazing to sit and look at at night. The room was amazing - large dining suite and study area with comfortable sofas, bedroom area was nice too.
Only downside was the bathroom - needed to be repaired a bit as the ceiling was damp but apart from that it was lovely.
The hotel facilities included a number of bars and restuarants of which I did not get to sample any as we stayed for such a short time.
The hotel also has its own disco and casino as well as all of the facilities you would expect and the hotel itself was decorated to a very high quality.
The staff...
