...The party that never stops. This is the French Quarter in NewOrleans. I have vistited the city twice in the past year. Once for pleasure and once for business. Both times I was amazed at the vitality and spirit in the heart of old NewOrleans. From a historical standpoint, the Quarter has plenty to keep tourists busy. One could stroll the street for hours observing the old French-Style iron balconies mixed in with the more current building styles. Several little shops sell a variety of Southern items ranging from homemade praline candy to alligator heads. Voodoo shops are found on every block.
This portions of the city is famous for it's nightlife. Driving through the heart of the Quarter is impossible as locals and tourists mix in the streets. Music ranging from Jazz to rock can be heard pouring out of the many bars. Girls...

The most amazing time to see NewOrleans in full bloom is the last weekend in January, the energy from people and the city is breathtaking. The whole city turns into a ball of colours, with themed floats crawling down the streets.
The French Quarter is a great place to visit, and see many local black magic museums, as well as beautiful architecture.
There are a number of fantastic bars, restaurants and clubs all on the famous Bourbon Street. The food is great, mainly lots of seafood. You can also find many a blues player standing on each corner playing great music, that invites people to stop and watch.
NewOrleans also has the most unique graveyards, because the city is located 6 feet below...
