I used Hertz car hire with a joint offer from Ryan Air. When I arrived at the airport ( glasgow Prestwick) no car was available even though I had booked in advance. I was forced to book another car because I was due urgently at a meeting . I then found that the price to book on the spot with any of the other car hire firms was cheaper than using the special discount voucher with Ryan Air. Afterwards I tried to get a refund from Ryan Air and Hertz but could only apply in writing and they never answered my fax. Not a recommended service
