i have always had great experiences with hertz ,this year being given free upgrade to a 2.0d golf very good reliable car as with all the cars i have hired with them over the last 7 years have been positive last year i hired one to Madrid and left the car back having not been able to refill before leaving the car back as i have always done in the past , i was shocked to find out it to 85 euro to fill the golf i complained to hertz and found out there is a 15 euro refuel charge; i got this refunded by them but its a warning to always refuel your car before leaving it back or get drive till empty when hiring the car a tip is to sign up for the e-mail offers where they offer special offers mostly 10% off but some times half price
