As some of you may know it was my birthday last month, I was a very lucky girl this year as my lovely boyfriend whisked me to London for the night to go and see Mamma Mia and to stay the night at the Hesperia Hotel.
The hotel is located near Victoria Station, when I say near I mean near, about 2 minutes away. First impressions are good, the front of the hotel has glass front so that you can see into he spacious reception area and into the bar and lounge area.
We where staying on floor two and a lift was an available for easy access to this level. The room was a good size with twin beds pushed together, two bedside tables, a dressing table and wardrobe; we also had a large TV which had SKY.
We also had an en suite bathroom complete with bath and shower, toilet and wash basin. I was pleased to see that a multitude of little freebies where available, mini shower gel, shampoo and body lotion as well as a shower cap and shoe buffer. We where also provided with towels and flannels, a hairdryer was also available for use.
The room did have a mini bar but after reading other reviews about the prices we decided to stay clear of using that facility.
The hotel also have a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, gym and sauna for use while you are staying, we were only their for one night but made sure we had a Jacuzzi in the morning before we left, we were the only people using it so it was really nice a quite.
Check in is at 2pm and check out is 12pm so you don’t have to rush in the morning and can still get a nice lie in.
The staff where helpful and polite, the room and rest of the hotel immaculate and really nicely presented I would highly recommend it.
Price:
I didn’t book the hotel myself when I stayed so I have had a look on a few websites to get an idea of the price for you and rooms start from £99. This price dies not include breakfast you have to pay extra for this.
