I visited Barcelona this July and stayed at the HotelHesperia Del Mar for five nights with 3 other friends and I have to honestly say we all loved it! The hotel price which we got from expedia was one of the most competitive around and we were pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel, for how cheap the hotel was it was quite nice. It cost for five night my share was 145 so the entire room cost was 290. The hotel reception staff were the highlight of the hotel. They are very friendly, warm and always willing to help! The rooms were standard and offered everything we needed. The bathroom was fully equipped with a shower, toilet, bidet and sink with large mirror. The bedroom consisted of 2 single beds and were comfy. There is air conditioning so we never felt hot and flustered in the room unless we turned it off and forgot to put it ...

Having just returned from Hotel San Luis We would like to say what a great time we had. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean especially as we went in August when it is at it's busiest. The food although a bit repetitive is excellent and there is always something you like (even when you have fussy children)! The rooms are cleaned thoroughly daily and clean bed linen and towels changed daily too. The entertainment is very good generally and the children's animation is excellent.
We went all inclusive and this is well worth considering as drinks can be very expensive. Ice creams are free as well as unlimited drinks, crisps,nuts etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful and you can hire beach towels for a refundable deposit of 10 euros each. Sports facilities are a godsend for teenagers as is the spotless pool area.

As some of you may know it was my birthday last month, I was a very lucky girl this year as my lovely boyfriend whisked me to London for the night to go and see Mamma Mia and to stay the night at the HesperiaHotel.
The hotel is located near Victoria Station, when I say near I mean near, about 2 minutes away. First impressions are good, the front of the hotel has glass front so that you can see into he spacious reception area and into the bar and lounge area.
We where staying on floor two and a lift was an available for easy access to this level.
The room was a good size with twin beds pushed together, two bedside tables, a dressing table and wardrobe; we also had a large TV which had SKY.
