I'm lucky to have friends, Alex and Katya, who live in Antwerp and when I visit the city for work, I try to meet up with them to play with their very fine Persian cat and go out for dinner. They have been living there for a couple of years so by now they know where's worth a visit and I've not been disappointed with any of their choices. Today the house she hid in is a museum, a timely reminder of what happened to millions of Jews, and what we can never let happen again.

INTRODUCTION
Here is a look at yet another bar on Breda's main square, Grote Markt. Whilst not being the first choice, and in fact is quite empty during the winter evenings, if not closed, it is not without its charms as I will elaborate.
THE BAR
Situated in the middle of Grote Markt, Het Voske in on the opposite side of the road to its main rivals, and jostles with them for outside seating areas in the summer. As their seats are on the end of this arrangement, it can be easy to miss this bar and in fact it was by accident that I ended up sitting there in the first place. You can tell which tables belong to which bar from the menus on the table and type of chairs deployed, as I was to discover.
