Central London (Soho, Picadilly, Shaftsbury avenue, Leicester Sq, Tottenham Ct Rd, Oxford Circus etc) is buzzing and the atmosphere is very European ~ the streets are vibrant & exciting ~ packed out pubs, cinemas, nightclubs, restaurants, shows, theatres and wine bars, not just the weekends but also weekdays. London offers diversity & its nightlife is right up there with the other top European cities, attracting more & more people to its trendy & vibrant streets, where you can enjoy and soak up atmosphere until the early hours of the morning. One of the more exclusive venues in central London is Café De Paris ~ this venue has been around since 1924 & is still rocking in 2002. ...INTRODUCTION Here is a look at yet another bar on Breda's main square, Grote Markt. Whilst not being the first choice, and in fact is quite empty during the winter evenings, if not closed, it is not without its charms as I will elaborate. THE BAR Situated in the middle of Grote Markt, Het Voske in on the opposite side of the road to its main rivals, and jostles with them for outside seating areas in the summer. As their seats are on the end of this arrangement, it can be easy to miss this bar and in fact it was by accident that I ended up sitting there in the first place. You can tell which tables belong to which bar from the menus on the table and type of chairs deployed, as I was to discover. Lauro Muller, 116 - Botafogo Rio de Janeiro Cut price - high price There are 4 floors here, and the price range seems to rise along with the escalators! My favourite store would have to be Renner, on the 1st and 2nd floor. It's a department store with a lot of choice; clothes, home stuff, jewellery etc. The prices are very good, and the quality is even better. Another nice store Mundo Verde on the 1st floor, an alternative health spiritual type of store. It has all the usual items; candles, incense, gems, but also had a few select pieces by, what I think was, a local artist. They even gift wrap for you too. After all that walking you'll be glad to find the 3rd floor with the restaurants and bars, any excuse to visit Guapo Loco again... Read review
