Raglan pleads with Frank to allow his wife to continue seeing the girl, but he refuses to listen and instead enlists the support of his mother-in-law and one of his daughter's teachers to help him look after the girl.
One evening, delighted to be of assistance to the unfortunate man, Frank's mother-in-law is contentedly babysitting the young girl, when she hears a strange noise in the kitchen. One object after another is discarded onto the floor and believing there to be an intruder, she goes to investigate. As she peers round the kitchen door, she is bemused by the messy scene in front of her, blissfully unaware that a small, yet malevolent little hand is gripping her meat tenderiser with intentions unknown??
The Brood really is a very curious little film. Misled by the title, I had expected a film about a swarm of alien creatures ...

Het Achterhuis - the house behind - what Anne Frank had planned to call her book she was in the process of writing when her life was cruelly cut short.
Anne Frank was a Jew who kept a diary during war town Amsterdam. She was in hiding with her family, another family, and a dentist friend on the Princengract , the same building that was used for her father's jam making company.
Today the house she hid in is a museum, a timely reminder of what happened to millions of Jews, and what we can never let happen again.
I walked to the Museum, and was easy to find on foot, although there is tram stops and the river taxis operate beside the museum too. We went last July, and there was a long queue, but it was worth the wait. The entrance is in a stark modern building beside the Westerkirk, often mentioned in Anne's Diary. It's a stark ...

again, Kasabian are the most exciting new British band since Muse. I strongly advise you to check out this album, and their quirky b-sides, recent and readily available everywhere. Their appeal is in their constant twists and turns, direction changes and layers of instruments, swirling psychedelia with a large dollop of funk and indie sensibilities.
But most of all, Kasabian are dark, brooding and mysterious. ...
