The hotel was on the Via Arenal, just off the square. On arrival we were greeted in good English by a very friendly receptionist and the check-in was smooth. The hotel was bright and modern. Satellite TV, air conditioning (a blessing in July), large double bed, plenty of storage and a wall safe. Breakfast was buffet style, and fair value for money. As I remember it was 11 euros each. The one bonus I really liked was the free wireless internet access in each room, and two PC 's for residents use in reception.
Madrid itself was an amzing city. We thoroughly enjoyed our three day break, which was partly due to this hotel. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. We plan to visit Madrid again next year, and will most likely book here again.
