I just took my family including 2 small kids for the weekend, and we had a great time. The food is top notch, although that also means wines start at £20. Breakfast should not be missed (you won't need to eat until tea-time at a push). The staff everywhere were incredibly friendly and helpful which made the whole stay a pleasure. Our family room was well-appointed, clean and very spacious. Public spaces are what you'd expect from a Hilton - very classy. The health club has a smallish but very warm pool, and a small gym, sauna and steamroom - quite adequate. The only slight downer may be the lack of lift if you have small kids, but the staff will happily help carry stuff if you need help. Being pre-Christmas the decorations were just being finished, and they looked fabulous. The hotel is also easy to get to, being just off the A27 - an ideal base to get around that area of the coast. If you are a Hilton card holder they send you some great deals too - we had 2 nights, 1 evening meal, 2 breakfasts, and a free bath robe for £195, with kids going completely free. Highly recommended.

Welcome to Ciao. A good first review. Would agree with the comments below. My best advice is to read as many reviews, by different members as you can, that way you will see the kind of content that gets higher ratings, and those members will come back and read your reviews. Have fun. C

Could do with some more info to gain higher ratings. Take a look at others review and you will soon get to know the level of info that is needed for a very helpful review if not more. x

Advantages: Superb location. Comfortable, relaxing hotel, steeped in history. Superb staff. Disadvantages: Loud Christmas parties tended to conflict with the country hotel ethos!
