Advantages: Ideal location for business/conference guests Disadvantages: Not for general tourist
WOW. Well i stayed at this hotel for a week during the recent MS IT Forum and what a fantastic location. This hotel is located next door to Barcelona's premire conference centre and a fantastic shopping mall. The hotel itself is exactly what you expect when you think Hilton, very plush reception and bar area staffed by some extremely friendly staff with great language skills. the service is superb and professional yet not pretentious like some high ... ...luxurious and very comfortable with amazing views of the city. From my room i could see across the city taking in Gaudi's cathederal and the olympic village. Transport to/from the hotel is ideal, Trams run very efficently and economically, the metro can be a little crowded but outside of peak times is fine, a lot better than the london tube. one ticket can be used on these and the local bus service for a zonal charge very similar to london.
