HiltonAdana in Turkey (poor review, skip to next for Hilton Baynunah -------------------------------- it was the close to the end of Ramadan in 2002, some friends and I went to the main restaurant at Hilton Adana for dinner. There was nothing catered for vegetarian on the menu, but the chef on duty was nice to whip up something for me. The portion was ridiculously small, but maybe I was too hungry. I ordered chocolate souffle for dessert, but i was served chocolate mousse instead, and was repeatedly told it was chocolate souffle by the waitress and her manager. Ok, i know peanuts about cooking, but i think i deserve the credit for knowing how my favourite dessert would taste and look like. After me repeatedly telling them how chocolate souffle actually look like - served hot for an instance -, the charge for the phony souffle was removed. Then it was time to pay, we waited for more than half an hour for our change. It was a considerable amount and we were not going to leave that big a tip! It was after asking the other waiters for our receipt did we finally get our change.
We returned some time later... for a company function. It was not impressive.

Hilton Baynunah, Abu Dhabi, UEA ------------------------------------------------ I was there during easter 2005. what can i say? it's has truly good service. especially after my experience in Adana. There are 3 Hiltons in Abu Dhabi alone, and it's easy to make your way to the wrong one. But fear not, the staff are wonderfully helpful! even in the early hours of 3am. it erased the blimp Hotel Adana made.
the room is very clean, so is the bathroom. It was a more like a service apartment at Hilton Baynunah. It has all the facilities of a hotel room, plus a kitchenette area. If you need broadband interenet, there is the business lobby, with 3 ready connected pcs, and a few ethernet sockets for those who wish to use their own.
didnt try the food in the hotel, was more interested in the city.
it was one of the few times the airline lost my lugguage, and the staff at the hotel were great at following up with the much less efficient airport staff.
I have nothing but praises for the staff at Hilton Baynunah and Hilton Abu Dhabi. They have made my stay truly enjoyable. i look forward to staying there again.
Hi and a warm welcome to ciao. Some good info there in your first, well-written review. I hope you enjoy the ciao experience, as I do. Ray

Hi, I have to say I agree with most of the comments below, but since you've given us comments on two hotels I think they might just make an H between them. Really more detail all round is needed though. Duncan
