Advantages: In a good location, many friendly members of staff, spacious rooms Disadvantages: Questionable hygiene and maintenance issues
Long before a certain American socialite claimed that everything under the sun was ?hot?, the name ?Hilton? was most commonly recognised as being an international hotel empire. Having expanded throughout the 20th century, from humble beginnings in Dallas, Texas, I?ve always thought of Hilton hotels as havens for businessmen trying to impress potential clients. Alas, as if you haven?t noticed, there is a global recession going on and the chain has seemingly relaxed their approach a little and offered those in need of a leisurely break the opportunity to stay in their hotels at a reasonable cost.
As a result of some rather difficult family circumstances, my folks didn?t want to venture too far away from home this summer. Whilst Coventry might not sound like everyone?s ideal holiday destination, it was far enough away from Lincolnshire ...

I like my home comforts when I am travelling abroad, but Mr Tart is quite happy to stay in any old hostel. This Hilton is located in Boston?s Financial District. It is at 89 Broad Street. Despite it being in the Financial District we found it very easy to walk from the hotel to the main tourist sites of the city. Quincy Market and the Old State House were only 10 minutes walk away.
PRICES:

We booked the room online at www.Hilton.co.uk, Hilton guarantee that their best rates are available online. We booked a few months in advance and got a really good rate. Rates do change, at the moment double roms are £110 per night with guest room plus rooms £134. Because I boked well in advance i got a double plus room (gets a sea view, fluffy bath robes etc) for under £100. The Wbsite has info about the hotel including pictures of rooms etc
The hotel is relatively modern with lots of car parking. When we checked in Reception was busy but was very efficient. All the public areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean
On balance a hotel that I'm likely to stay at again. I stayed on a Sunday, arriving in time for Sunday lunch. The Restaurant, the Promenade, has a Carvery which was extremely good with starters of either soup or a help ...
