a surprising city

Advantages: a few gems - worth a short visit
Disadvantages: after a few days you may be struggling

on St Patricks night when it was going nuts - it never fails to amaze me how much americans celebrate this day. Getting around is easy they have a great bus system that is cheap and easy to use, they also have Union Station the main Amtrak station and also another museum. Be warned while they call Kansas City Airport international do not be fooled it is a small airport with about 3 or 4 very small terminal buildings with very few facilities - it is not the kind of place that you want to hang around for too long (i did as my flight was severely delayed and was very soon losing the will to live - they didn't even have that months editions of various magazines!) It is a strange kind of place with a few gems, a few days is more than enough to see everything, worth a short stay but take my word i wouldn't book a week! A completely ...

Review of Kansas City

Kansas City Shuffle

Advantages: Great plot, fantatic actin, great twists
Disadvantages: None

Kingsley (Thunderbirds) - The Rabbi Lucy Liu (Kill Bill vol 1) - Lindsey Story The story is so full of twists and turns that it's hard to know where to begin. As the opening credits roll we witness the murders of 2 bookies and their books then being robbed, although you realize this is significant you won't know why yet. Next we see a guy in a waiting room, he is then approached by a guy in a wheelchair Mr Goodcat who starts to talk to him about athe Kansas City Shuffle, again you won't know why. In the next scene we meet Slevin, he's having a bad time, he's come to New York after loosing his job and catching his girlfriend cheating on him, then he's mugged. He arrives at Nick Fishers apartment but there is no sign of him, instead he meets Nick's neighbour Lindsey and there is an instant attraction. After this two heavies arrive looking ...

Review of Lucky Number Slevin (DVD)

Lovely Stay at Hilton Bath City.

Advantages: Friendly staff, nice rennovated rooms, food was worth it!
Disadvantages: Cost of parking and non-rennovated rooms.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Hilton, Bath City on Wednesday 30th May 2007, after a long day touring Cornwall and Padstow. We booked the hotel under a Friends and Family discount, although I wasn't expecting much after reading some of the ratings the hotel received from other Ciao members. I was pleasently surprised. When we arrived, I was dubious about the underground parking, staying for 24 hours in a short stay car park didn't sound right. I checked with reception, who told me they had an agreement with the owners of the car park to allow residents a charge of £17 per 24 hours. We weren't due to stay 24 hours after arriving around 9pm, but it seemed the easiest option and wasn't that expensive. It is a short walk from the car park to the hotel up some steps, but would advise any disabled visitors to get dropped off ...
