myself and my husband stayed at the gatwick hilton last september ,the night before we flew out to another hilton in egypt .
normally when we have to fly from gatwick (about a 3 and a half hours drive from where we live) we drive down and fly out the same day but we'd got a bit fed up with doing this as it meant hanging around the airport for far too long. this time when we looked at booking airport parking we decided it would be nice to stay overnight, the price to just stay at the hilton is quite high but in a package with the parking it was very reasonable at between £120 and £150 for one nights stay and two weeks parking.
as soon as we walked in we knew we'd made the right choice, the room was pure luxury and so clean with a tea/coffee maker and an internet connection, also you know your in a posh hotel when you walk in the bathroom and you find a full glass surround shower and white fluffy soft dressing gowns.
the staff make you feel special and the service was spot on and up to the usual high standard we have come to know from the hilton group throughout the world.
all i can say is next time we fly from gatwick we will stay there again.
