The Sorrento Palace is set in the Amalfi hillside and boasts spectacular views across the bay of Naples to Mount Vesuvius. We spent a fantastic 7 nights here as part of our honeymoon in 2004, although if it hadn't have been our honeymoon we probably wouldn't have stayed here - well worth the money though (a week in August will set you back around £650pp). The rooms are fresh and clean and spacious, with satellite television, minibar and a balcony. ... ...Martini station where you can try different martini cocktails (I thoroughly recommend the Sorrento Martini). There are six interconnecting outodoor swimming pools with plenty of sunbeds available and another large pool indoors which is open during the winter months. There's a poolside bar which also serves food. The main restaurant is stunning, and if you're lucky or early enough to get a terrace table you can watch the sun go down over Vesuvius. ...

The property features a wide range of facilities including restaurant, bar, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness room, tennis court, playground for children, table tennis and much more. The property also features a conference centre, complete with an independent entrance, parking for up to 300 vehicles, a selection of meeting rooms of every size and an auditorium with more than 1500 seats. The most demanding clients are welcomed in the suites and newly renovated rooms on the executive floor, all boasting a sea view and additional services as well as access to the executive lounge, ideal for cocktails and snacks with its spectacular terrace.
My family and I have now stayed at Johanna Park Hotel twice. Once in June 2005 and again in June 2008. This hotel is simply excellent. Johanna and her fantastic staff make you feel right at home and couldn't be more helpful. It's like no other hotel... more
