Advantages Cheap tailored clothing

In coming from Nha Trang I found Hoi An to be a refreshing change without too many hawkers and pickpockets. It is much more layed back and full of bars overlooking the river.
After two days there we not only knew the bar staff but the dog and regulars. This is how much of a friendly place it is. One bar I would recommend was the Zanzibar. It’s a five minute walk out of the centre but is well worth it for the food and friendly manager and bar staff.On spending New Year 2001 there the celebrations were excellent and we joined in with the locals. While Hoi An does not have that many bars that open late, there are more than enough.
One reason why people visit Hoi An is there is a tailors shop every three houses. The going rate for a suit is $25 for a Jacket and two pairs of pants. These are made in 24 hrs. You just pick the material off the roll and the style out of a Next Catalogue! The quality is excellent but make sure you try it on and have time left for any adjustments that are needed.All in all, a relaxing town with much to see and do. Although it’s just as nice to sit in a bar and watch the world go by in a bar.

I thought this was a nice little review, as far as it went but I would have liked more detail. I ma going to Hoi Ann soon and would have loved to hear about any other things you did and/or particularlly enjoyed. What are the transport links like? Prices? I've heard that there are some historical buildings there too.
