Advantages: the food, staff, the pools
Disadvantages: might be a bit too quiet for some person

Falesia Hotel The hotel isn't actually in Albufeira but in Acoteias, which is about 15 minutes from the city of Albufeira, 20 minutes from Villamoura and 30-40 minutes from Faro Airport. We booked the holiday through Thomson. This is classed as a Thompson Gold holiday as the hotel is a 4 star. We paid £330 per person for 7 nights half board in the month of April. So was it worth it? Let's see. When we arrived at the hotel, we had to queue up for our rooms to get allocated. The people on the desk were friendly and helpful. The Room The hotels has 170 rooms. I think because I had requested a double bed, our options were limited. We were given a room on the second floor but unlike the rest of the rooms that had keycards, we given keys. Room 211A. Review of Falesia Hotel, Albufeira

Great holiday in Hotel Miami, Ibiza

Advantages: Gorgeous beaches, fantastic nightlife, amazing weather, kids clubs are excellent, great weather
Disadvantages: (you don't want to leave!!), food at hotel is not so good.

I stayed in the Hotel Miami, Ibiza last year with two friends and I enjoyed my experience so much I'm going again next year. Ibiza is the ultimate young people's holiday destination - but this hotel is family friendly aswell - kids clubs are excellent! If you're looking to go abroad this year whatever your age and interests I sincerely recommend Ibiza. The beaches are clean and gorgeous, the sun is warm on your back, the sand is hot on your feet - I LOVE IBIZA!! The nightlife - well, thats just too exciting to put into words! We tried a different club every night and I didn't want to leave any one of them. Some of the drinks were quite expensive in some of them, but the atmospheres in all of them was just immense. Review of Hotel Miami Ibiza, Ibiza

Had a fantastic holiday at this hotel

Advantages: superb food, location next to beach size of rooms, air conditioning, friendly staff
Disadvantages: abundence of children at high season, no fridges in rooms

becasue we wanted a good view. Unfortunatly we didn't have a sea view I asked reception if I would be able to change this and they informed me that as the hotel was fully booked I would have to wait a couple of days, we decided to keep the room we had. The views were still good, overlooking the pool, the town of La Pineda and on a clear day you could see out the mountains and the 'Port Aventura' theme park over 5 miles away! The room was spacious with a big double bed, a satilite t.v ( 2 english speaking channels) a telephone, hairdrier, safety deposit box ( a cost of 20 euros from reception but you get 6 of that back at the end of the holiday). There was a small dressing table with a large mirror, 1 chair and a small bench which had a shelf underneath which I presume was for shoes. There was a spacious wardrobe with the safe, 2 small ...
