Advantages: The Cocktails - the food -the music! Disadvantages: how much you want to eat and drink! Service could be better
...Hey guys, well this is my very first Restaurant review, so please bear with me (make-up and hair is more of my thang ;o)
Working in London, when I want a meal after work I am spoilt for choice. Every type of restaurant I could ever imagine I might like to eat at, is in walking distance, allowing me to eat, drink and not worry about getting home as long as I don’t miss my last train!
At weekend, living in Basildon in Essex, it’s not quite as easy! We have the usual things, TGI Fridays, Chicago's, Nandos (Mmmm chicken) McDonalds ( ;o) ) etc.. and then we have Frankie & Benny’s, which before about a year ago, I'd never tried.
Basically the storey of Frankie & Benny's is in 1953, 2 school friends, one who had been born in Sicily, Italy and later moved to America, and one who was a third generation Italian-American, took over...

Advantages: Right in the middle of Essex's hottest nighspot. Disadvantages: None. Everything is perfect.
...Well... As you may know. All premier Travel Inns are really much of the same standard.
This particular hotel is situated ideally in the middle of a large leisure complex. Known Locally as "Bas Vegas". There are maunt restaurant, a multi screen cinema, trendy bars and nightclubs, all within a square mile or so. Its brilliant if you want a fun packed weekend away with your girlsfreinds, for example on a hen night. But not so good if you want a quiet relazing weekend away somewhere.
You have probably guessed, from reading some of my other reviews, that I do live in Basildon, Essex. When I go to the Festival Leisure Park, I plan on getting a cab home with some freinds. But you know how hard it can be to get a taxi on a friday or saturday night, so we end up usually asking if they have some rooms available for the night. where we manage...

...You all know what a Premier Travel Inn is so I won't go into much detail about that.
The general appperence of the hotel is pretty good. Its only been built in the last 15 years, so the building itself is pretty new. I'm not sure how many rooms they have but i think its around 100.
The hotel its self is adjoining the restaurent which is called the Haywain. Its not that bad actually. There has been many a time when mysle fand my family have gone to the restaurent (Its only about a 15 minute walk from where i live) for Sunday Lunch. I must I was quite impressed. My partner and myself have sat outside in the gardens while the children have run around in the large activity area. I know that its ner a main road, but I felt quite safe in the knowledge that they were safe as its all fenced off with one way in and one way out. which can...

We stayed here for a week in August. Check-in was very quick and the staff had put a cot in our room for our little one which was great. The rooms are a good size and are of a nice finish, fresh and quiet. The bed is a good size and the bathroom was... more
