Booked a late deal on the HI website and got a substantial discount on an executive room. Although my wife and I often stay in Bristol, this was the first visit to the HolidayInn at Filton.
About 3or4 miles from the city centre, the hotel is just off J1 of the m32 and about 1 mile from J19 of the m4. Set in acres of park and woodland the only problem with the hotel is the rather dated exterior which could do with a freshen up.
At initial reception we found the welcome to be genuinely warm and friendly. We received a brief rundown of the hotel facilities and services,and all my questions were answered professionally and with courtesy.
