Brussels City Centre is ideally located for traveling towards the Grand Place, the European Commission District, Brussels South and Brussels Central railway station. ...
Advantages: Great location as a base to visit this city, well recommended Disadvantages: Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for
...Krakow's airport (Pope John Paul II Airport) which is served from the UK by easyJet and British Airways.
The airport is about 11k from the city and there is a nearby train station from which you can travel cheaply in a journey taking about 15 minutes. I made the mistake of walking from Krakow station to my accommodation (it did not look very far on the map!) and I regretted hauling luggage over cobbled streets. You can get trams or taxis from the railway station readily all over the city.
Krakow is on the banks of the Vistula River and the old part of town is a horseshoe shape with the open end of the horseshoe at the bottom on the river banks (the horseshoe, in fact, is where the old city walls used to be - more about this later).
The HolidayInn is just outside this horseshoe, only a short distance from the most historic sights...

Advantages: Great Staff , 5 min walk into city Disadvantages: small bath
...We stayed at the HolidayInn in Cardiff CityCentre recently. The reason for our visit was because I was auditioning for the X Factor (again! - I didn't get through :( ) . We chose HolidayInn because we had stayed at the hotel on many occasions before and were pleased with it and it's value for money.
The hotel is located right by the Millenium Stadium. This was convenient for us because the auditioning for the X Factor took place in the Stadium. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the high street which was good!
Our room was located overlooking the Stadium's car park. This was good because this was where the queuing for the auditions took place. We were told to be there for 8AM however , when we woke up at 5Am the queue was massive!

We had to go through two sets of large automatic doors to get into...

Advantages: Excellent self-service breakfast. Clean rooms and good facilities. Disadvantages: Rooms are a bit too small generally. Bit expensive.
...On my trips to Leeds I always book into the HolidayInn Express, chiefly because it is the closest hotel to where I need to be. Within this review I refer to my last experience of staying there about 10 months ago.
Outside the building doesn't look too attractive, and the entrance is a bit basic with its blue doors and plants. However, when you make your way through the doors, the lobby is much more impressive. As I approached the counter to sign in, I was greeted by a member of the staff politely within a few seconds. I had already booked so it was just a matter of signing the piece of paper and taking my key card for my room. I was on the 6th of its 7 floors and being rather lazy, decided to take one of the 2 lifts they have. The corridor I travelled down to my room is rather luxurious, and lacks the certain cheap and tacky...
