I stayed here in January last year on my first visit to South Africa. I can honestly say I have never fallen in love so quickly with a country. I was only here for 5 days unfortunately but wanted to stay forever! The hotel we stayed at was the Holiday Inn Express in the town centre and really is the perfect place to explore capetown. The hotel is small, but extremely clean and the rooms are a really nice size. The bathrooms are quite small but very functional and again very clean. There is a small restaurant area where you can have a great buffett breakfast and the best muffins ever! When I was there in January there was also the friendliest chef, he really was the nicest man, even sang my mum happy birthday! It's a great base to explore the town from and go on tours, make sure you do the winelands, even if you dont like wine, they'll take you to the most beautiful and tranquil areas!
