Holiday Inn Express at Glasgow Airport. Me and my girlfriend booked this hotel 3 weeks before hand and got a great rate of £55 for one night including full breakfast. We got the free airport bus from buchan bus station which takes to outside the main terminal at the airport .When we arrived we were amazed at how close it was actually to the main terminal of Glasgow Airport less than 2 minutes which was very handy for our morning departure. We checked in around 1630 and were told in detail the facility's , restaurant opening times , breakfast times and all check out details by two friendly staff receptionists one lady also helped us with the masses of luggage we had to the room. We were surprised with the quality of the hotel with it just being a budget hotel the entrance to the hotel resembles the same look in decor as any 4 or 5 star hotel, with friendly professional staff at hand to assist you.
So when we finally got to the room and got settled had a look about we were pleased it was spacious clean and comfortable. There is tea and coffee making facility's ,plenty of bathroom toiletries and a trouser press. You have also got a stocked minibar but prices are very expensive almost £2 for a small bottle of water .You get some cable t.v like skys basic package i think so plenty to watch.I would give the rooms 10/10 for good clean spacious modern comfortable stay. We did not get the chance to go down to the restaurant which looked nice,we did however order room service which was delivered quick and was not bad grub. You can order room service up to 11 at night its a basic menu at good prices with mainly pub style grub but it does the job. After a great nights sleep and good bath we headed down to breakfast expecting a croissant and cup of tea,we were wrong again there was more than enough to choose from one isle of hot food basicaly the full English breakfast and a huge isle for cereals and breads .The breakfast bar was clean all food was great and staff were on hand for refreshments. All in all i would have to say this hotel is fantastic value for money and is in a great location for traveling from Glasgow airport.

Good review. I stayed at this one a few years ago and agree with all your comments. This £55 deal is great - I got the same deal in Liverpool a little while ago. Paula
