Advantages: Cheapish, comfortable, clean and new Disadvantages: on a ringroad - but not a problem really
This was my first ever experience of a HolidayInnExpressHotel, but having stayed at this hotel recently I am sure I will be using this chain again. I found the HolidayInnExpress Cheltenham to be excellent value for money,very clean, well situated and with all the elements for a peaceful and agreable overnight stay.
Location:
The hotel is situated right in the centre of Cheltenham, a town which is on the edge of the Cotswolds and an agreable destination in its own right. The hotel was easily found being opposite "The Brewery", a new food and retail development that is well sign posted. The building is very new looking and plastered white - the HolidayInnExpress new logo makes it easy to spot.
Parking is in the neighbouring NCP carpark, which was secure enough, or the hotel is a short stroll from the High Street.

I made a visit to Holidayinn, in earls court during the middle of July and found this a nice place to stay.
The Hotel had a small sign displayed at the front of the Hotel window advertising rooms from ninety nine Pounds per room per night. Regarding the Hotel's location the nearest tube station is West brompton station which takes around ten minutes to walk from the station to the Hotel, or Fulham broadway is around fifteen minutes away.
The Hotel's immediate location is also close to South Kensington. Therefore Hotel visitors are treated to a great array of shopping malls in Fulham and high streets that surround the area. Advantages: Good location but not in City centre. Disadvantages: None if booked for what it is for.
We were to attend a Family Wedding, the reception to be held at the Marriott Hotel Peterborough.
Needed a good value Hotel for the group and found this Hotel was just across the road from the Marriott.
Booked thru BOOKING.COM and got three rooms.
1 Double, 1 Room for two adults and one child, 1 Room for two adults and two children.
The Room prices were all the same £45 per night, with breakfast. Children sharing a room with two adults come free.
We were staying two nights Friday and Saturday as wedding was at 12 o'clock so did not want to rush on the Sat morning.
We wre due to arrive at 8 Fri Evening, I emailed this to the hotel and received a swift reply that this had been noted on our reservation.
