I booked this hotel for my stay in Leeds as I wanted to stay in the city center. I have been staying in various hotels, so I had some expectations from this one as well.
When you want to choose any hotel, you have few criteria in mind. I would like to write on the criteria I had in my mind, so you can take this review as per your need.
Quality of hotel service: It was satisfactory, not exceptional but not bad too.
Condition or maintenance of the hotel: When I entered the hallway, I sensed a weird smell (like the one when the area is closed for long time), the breakfast sitting area was clean BUT, the cutlery was not clean. I had to wipe the spoons and forks I used. They clearly were not cleaned properly.
Cleanliness of room: but the rooms were maintained alright. The bathrooms were clean, but you don't get to see posh bathrooms.
Comfort of room: I did not like the beds (they were spring beds, and for me, they cause back pain). The TV was a small portable TV, where I was expecting a better one.
Facilities in the hotel: The breakfast is free but for the internet you have to pay. I was told that the interview is free by the site I booked it from, but I realized that the internet was not free after reaching there.
Location of the hotel: Good, if you would like to stay close to city center.
Value for Money: I did not feel like I should have paid 79 quid for one night for this hotel though. Probably, 59 could have been a good deal. Honestly, I would recommend a friend to check some other hotel instead of this one.
