I stayed one night at this hotel following a night out in Manchester. Cost £60 per room.
On arrival the staff were helpful and efficient, there was plenty of room for parking, newspapers and drinks available in reception.
The room was very clean, it consisted of a double bed and sofa bed, small table and chairs, small bathroom with shower only (no bath), TV, kettle etc, just enough storage space for a couple of days/nights luggage.
We managed to squeeze three girlies into our room and weren't charged any extra, therefore good value for money.
Breakfast was a continental buffet (eat as much as you like)
The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the Metro stop, cost about £1 - £1.50 into Manchester city centre, about £6 in a cab. There are a few restaurants/bars close by - Tex/Mex, cafe bar/diner type places, vouchers are available from the hotel for discounts on meals although I didn't use them. The Lowry shopping centre/cinema etc and theatre are also within walking distance.
Overall a good base to see Manchester and easy to get to. The rooms were similar in design to Premier Lodge rooms but the hotel itself felt superior - more of a hotel atmosphere as opposed to a motel.
