Holiday Inn Express San Francisco-Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco

Disadvantages: basic room, no feeling of security in hotel

...the main reception of the holiday inn (nice building), but on getting our room keys we were told to cross the road to the Express building (carried mine and my daughters bags - no offers of help at all!) ...also stayed in a few Holiday Inns, but this one was the only one I didn't feel safe in - Imagine one of those dodgy thrillers, where you have two cops looking for a suspect in a dodgy apartment building somewhere random in America (you must have seen one of those movies!)
