HolidayInn Express at Glasgow Airport.
Me and my girlfriend booked this hotel 3 weeks before hand and got a great rate of £55 for one night including full breakfast.We got the free airport bus from buchan bus station which takes to outside the main terminal at the airport .When we arrived we were amazed at how close it was actually to the main terminal of Glasgow Airport less than 2 minutes which was very handy for our morning departure.We checked in around 1630 and were told in detail the facility's , restaurant opening times , breakfast times and all check out details by two friendly staff receptionists one lady also helped us with the masses of luggage we had to the room.
We were surprised with the quality of the hotel with it just being a budget hotel the entrance to the hotel resembles the same look in decor as any 4 or 5 star ...

I had the 'pleasure' of having a 4 week stay at the HolidayInn Express recently whilst on an airline training course.
It's one of two hotels near the airport, the other one being the awful Ibis. So if you need a hotel due to an early or late flight this is probably your best bet.
Location:
It's a quarter of a mile from Luton Airport and 1 mile from Luton Airport Parkway train station. There is a shuttle bus that goes from the station to the airport every 10 minutes or so and it goes past the hotel, there is a bus stop just outside. A taxi to Luton Parkway if you do not want to use the free bus is around £4.
First Impressions:
It's a nice modern looking building, with 'HolidayInn Express' clearly marked on it. You walk into an open plan room and it seems quite small with a low ceiling. There is a reception desk that also ...

I stayed at the holidayInn Gatwick with my family before and after flying out to the caribbean. It was clean and friendly and even the kids enjoyed it. The rooms were quite spacious with tea and coffe facilities. I even called reception as there was only one hot chocolate between the 2 children, and they were at our room within minutes with more sachets and packets of biscuits. We ate an evening meal there too and it wasn't too badly priced! We got up early the next morning and had a swim before catching our longhaul flight, which used up a bit of energy so the kids weren't too restless on the plane. All in all we loved it and would definitely stay again. ...
