Kingston-Upon-Hull , or as it is usually known locally Hull , is situated on the north bank of the River Humber in the county of East Yorkshire . If you are visiting the City from the south you will find the Humber Bridge provides much quicker access than of old . However there is a toll .
The City itself has numerous , free museums , the Ferens Art Gallery , the Deep ( pay to enter ) , a few new shopping centres ( the St. Stephens project still being under construction ) and a couple of theatres ( Hull Truck and the New theatre ) If you decide to visit check out via the local tourist office .
If you are looking for a centrally based place to stay , look no further than the Kingston Theatre Hotel . If you just want a good place to pop in , and wine and dine , then this is also the place for you .
