I work for this hotel but I've also stayed here on my wedding night so you might think I'm being over generous with the scoring but I've stayed in alot of Holiday inn hotels and I can tell you this is the best so far.

If you need a hotel in a good location with easy access to the motorway then this is the hotel for you. Just off the M62, junction 25 going towards Brighouse. It sits on a hill with gorgeous surroundings, its a great location for weddings. It was built in 1989.

The car park is free for Hotel residents and guests using other facilities like the spirit club, bar area or restaurant. The car park has CCTV and can hold up to 220 cars on three levels and on the top level it has dedicated easy access car parking for blue badge holders only.

The hotel has 94 excellent rooms in total with a choice of standard, double, executive or suite.
All rooms got renovated in 2004 and have individually controlled air conditioning.
When you arrive and you wish to upgrade to executive our friendly staff will be more than willing to accommodate you. When you go executive you get free morning newspaper delivered to your room, bathrobe, upgraded toiletries, slippers, mineral water, scales chocolate, mini bar, orange juice and in room safes
If you booked one of our suites you get all the above plus a separate living room with dining table to entertain people.

The Junction bar has two different menu's, one for the day and the other in the evening and it's open 24 hours a day.

The Junction restaurant holds up to 160 people at a squeeze and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Breakfast is open from 6.30am to 10am Monday to Friday and at the weekends and bank holidays its open 7.30am to 11am, its priced at £13.95 per person if you are not inclusive. We have a wide range of breakfast items ranging from continental to cooked breakfast with a take away option if your in a rush to get away and you can check out at the same time.
For the continental breakfast we have Danish, croissants, cereals, different breads, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, fruit juices, smoothie.
For the cooked breakfast we have fried eggs, scrambled egg, bacon, Cumberland sausage, pork sausage, tomato, beans, mushrooms and black pudding. We also do a selection of cook to order items, like smoked haddock, kippers, poached eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes and smoked salmon.
The restaurant is open on a lunch time between 12pm to 2pm Monday to Friday and then Sunday. We do a deli style during the week with salads, hot food and sweets which is priced at £13.50 per person and for Sunday lunch we do a carvery at £11.50 per person.
In the evening its open from 6.30pm till 10pm, we have a set menu, specials, A la carte menu and on a few nights we have a carvery night.

If you fancy having your meal in your room, you can order room-service which is 24 hours, brought to your room hot and covered. There's a tray charge of £2.50.

There's a leisure area, which has been renovated in 2004. Its free for hotel residents but if you want to be a member or just to visit it on a one off you'll have to phone up to find out how much it costs. There's a swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room and a gym. The opening times are from 6.30am to 10pm.

If you fancy doing something locally there's alot of things to do like Eureka Childrens Museum, Bradford Ice Rink, Showcase Cinema, Galpharm Sports & Events Stadium, Royal Armouries, Bronte Parsonage, Bradford Museum of Film & Photography, Harewood House and a few golf courses.

If you fancy having a wedding or other function with it being 2 to 200 people we can cater for everyone. We also have a very nice courtyard for weddings and functions. There are 7 meeting rooms altogether and all of them are located on the ground floor and with air conditioning.

Now for my views on the hotel, I've worked there for nearly 7 years and I love working there including going there when I'm off to enjoy the leisure facilities. The staff are really friendly and we have a can-do attitude to make sure the customers stay is enjoyable. The food is done to specification and if you have breakfast go inclusive cause its expensive if you decide to have it in the morning so your not spending loads of more money. There's loads of choice and you will leave full and satisfied and the mood is nice and relaxed so your not feeling like you are being rushed away. I'm normally found on the cooked breakfast area frying eggs and I'm always willing to help with anything a customer wants.
I use the spirit club gym and swimming facilities most of the time, its really clean and modern looking, with friendly staff to help you if you need anything like refreshments or if you've forgotten armbands.
If you have children the hotel staff will keep them entertained with activity packs and all children eat free.
The receptionists will also help you if you need directions to different places or if you need directions to the hotel and they will also offer you priority club membership which can be worth while.
