The hotel can be very expensive if you just turn up and ask for a room so it is best to pre-book or keep an eye out for the many deals that HolidayInn offers on its website or in the national press. This was my first ever experience of a HolidayInn Express Hotel, but having stayed at this hotel recently I am sure I will be using this chain again. I found the HolidayInn Express Cheltenham to be excellent value for money,very clean, well situated and with all the elements for a peaceful and agreable overnight stay.
Location:
The hotel is situated right in the centre of Cheltenham, a town which is on the edge of the Cotswolds and an agreable destination in its own right. The hotel was easily found being opposite "The Brewery", a new food and retail development that is well sign posted. The building is very new looking and plastered white - the HolidayInn Express new logo makes it easy to spot.
Parking is in the neighbouring NCP carpark, which was secure enough, or the hotel is a short stroll from the High Street.

We stayed at the HolidayInn Leeds Garforth for one night on Saturday 30th March 2008 as an overnight stopover on the way up to Darlington for my friend's wedding the next day. We chose this hotel because of its location, the late check-out time and because it looked alright from the website.
