Hi, I am trying to write reviews of places that I have visited. Hope they are helpful to people going to those places. I'm currently in university and every single pence helps to finance my travels. Cheers !

I stayed here for 2 nights in mid-Feb 2006. It is very easy to find the hotel. I followed the instructions given on the website to look for the hotel from the Camden tube station and it's about 3 minutes' walk. The hotel staff are all friendly but most (all I think) are not English. Anyway, this doesn't matter at all. My room was not big but everything that I needed was in the room (ironing board, work desk, big TV, hairdryer). They provide complimentary stuff like toothbrush but you have to call the reception to ask for it. They also have a few different types of pillows for you to choose from, which I think is quite good.
My hotel rate (I heard it's £99 including breakfast - corporate rate - not sure because I didn't pay for it) included breakfast. Breakfast was breakfast buffet but I had breakfast delivered to my room. I had to pay £5 extra for this service. Breakfast was really good. The portion was so big it could easily feed 3 girls.
The camden lock was just next to the hotel. Very nice view from my room and the market was great. However, I didn't feel comfortable walking back to the hotel from the tube station at night. It's quite dodgy and the next time I stay there, I would probably take a taxi back to the hotel or walk back to the hotel with someone. Anyway, there are many policemen patrolling all day and it made me felt better.
If you want dinner in the hotel, try their fish and chips. My friend recommended that to me and it was really yummy. I didn't try anything else so I can't say much about other food.
I had a very nice stay in the hotel and was happy. I think it's a good choice if you want to stay outside zone 1 and yet very convenient access to public transport.
