We spent two nights here as a package that included 1 dinner and two breakfasts. We were using it as a base for a special event and it worked for us. There was nothing that jarred about the place; by the same token it was not that "special".
We paid for a one above the basic "executive" room and so the small size - in fact getting toward the "poky" when two of you are trying to dress up in smart clothes - was a disappointment. Otherwise the room was fine, nice bathroom, good bed, the Holiday Inn "menu of pillows" and so on.

Other than a long queue to check out the place was "fine". It is very clean, well maintained and convenient. For those of us not used to London it may be even be above the average; we just felt it was OK. No complaints at all, by the same token not impressed. In fact if we had paid the "rack rate" I would be disappointed so check out for deals and offers.
