The main feature of the rooms is that they include wooden shutters instead of curtains which are extremely effective at blacking out the room.
Internet Access
High-speed Internet access is available in all rooms. It costs £14.99 for 24 hours or £75.00 for a week.
Price
The hotel can be very expensive if you just turn up and ask for a room so it is best to pre-book or keep an eye out for the many deals that HolidayInn offers on its website or in the national press. Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Holiday Inn, Oxford
Advantages: Cheapish, comfortable, clean and new Disadvantages: on a ringroad - but not a problem really
This was my first ever experience of a HolidayInn Express Hotel, but having stayed at this hotel recently I am sure I will be using this chain again. I found the HolidayInn Express Cheltenham to be excellent value for money, very clean, well situated and with all the elements for a peaceful and agreable overnight stay.

The hotel was easily found being opposite "The Brewery", a new food and retail development that is well sign posted. The building is very new looking and plastered white - the HolidayInn Express new logo makes it easy to spot.
Parking is in the neighbouring NCP carpark, which was secure enough, or the hotel is a short stroll from the High Street.

likely to cost nearer £80. We paid £60 not including breakfast for a Saturday night in March.
Location
The HolidayInn Leeds Garforth is located about 6 miles east of Leeds city centre. It is minutes away from junctions 46 and 47 of the M1 and close to the A1(M) and the M62. The hotel is located on the roundabout where the A63 and the A642 cross. On the other side of the roundabout there is a Beefeater. Garforth train station is roughly a mile from the hotel.
Check-in
Check-in was quick and the lady on the desk was pleasant and helpful. There were no queues and the hotel lobby was spacious and modern. Our room was located on the first floor and was a bit of a walk from the lobby.
The Room
The room was small but perfectly formed so to speak. It contained two single beds, which I was happy about as I was expecting a double ...
