Tired and bad tempered after our arrival at the airport after a much delayed flight to Jamaica seemed worth all the hassle when we were cheerfully greeted at this wonderful hotel. The reception and indeed the whole of the welcoming ground floor of the main hotel is open sided with a lovely breeze coming straight through. There are a few restaurants in which to eat, the main self service buffet hall which is replenished with fresh goods regularly (and does a wonderful breakfast), the beach snack bar, pizza bar on the beach and the fish restaurant. There was also a barbeque evening during our stay. There are events for the children and for adults and the hotel really puts an effort into entertainment day and night. This hotel has a pool bar, the main bar, piano bar and a disco. The only fault for me is that the air conditioning is way too cold in the disco and really kills the atmosphere. I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and if you catch the right chap, he will cut down a coconut for you and fetch you a straw!!
