We stayed for four nights at the 4* Holiday Inn Silom Bangkok in June 2007. It takes its name from its address on the Silom (Windmill) Road. The hotel has twin towers - The Crown Tower and The Plaza Tower and between them they have 700 rooms and suites. We stayed for 2 nights in the Holiday Inn, Bangkok. On arrival we were greeted by welcoming staff who took our suitcases from us whilst we experienced a smooth check in. We were shown up to our room which was spacious, comfortable and clean, and informed about the free drink that we could get from the restaurant. The staff were always willing to help and would come and wait with us outside the hotel for a taxi to pre-arrange a price - this was welcomed as it ensured we were not conned.
